Aurora Public School – More than 25 years ago, a group of Aurora Public School teachers who attended TCF became aware of students who lacked basic needs. It was decided to use Christmas gifts as a way to meet those needs. Staff at 5 APS schools are consulted regarding which families have the greatest need. We collect donations financially and in toys and clothing. Our goal this year is to raise $7,000.00; to date, we have raised $5,853.00. Shannon Maez is the Ministry Coordinator. Here are ways you can help:
- Volunteer. Shannon needs shoppers!! Shannon has scheduled a shopping date for Tuesday, December 2, 2025, @ 6:00 p.m. at the Pioneer Hills Walmart – 5650 S. Chambers Rd | S. Chambers Rd and S. Parker Rd. If you can assist with this volunteer opportunity, please email Shannon at shan0027@comcast.net. PLEASE MEET AT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AREA
- Gift wrapping party. Sunday, December 14, 2025, @ 12:00 p.m. in Room 200. Lunch will be provided.
- Financially. Checks can be made out to Tower Community Fellowship. Please note in the memo “APS”, cash, please use an offering envelope and notate “APS”. Ladies Lunch | Wednesday, December 10, 2025 11:30 a.m. Famous Dave’s [15725 E. Briarwood Circle, Aurora / SW corner of E.Arapahoe Rd. & S. Parker Rd.] Ladies come enjoy good food and great fellowship, and invite a friend!
Parents Night Out | Save the Date or go on a date!! TCF will be hosting our second Parents Night Out on Friday, December 12, 2025 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. here at the church. This is a great opportunity to leave your kids, ages newborn to 5th grade, in our volunteers’ capable hands for a meal of pizza and Christ-centered entertainment. Spend the evening Christmas shopping or find some time relaxing. Please RSVP to PastorEd@TowerCommunity.Church.
Christmas Choir | We will begin rehearsing for the Christmas Choir on Thursday, December 4, 11, and 18 at 6:45 p.m. in the Church Sanctuary. If you are interested in singing with us, please come!!!
Women’s Bible Study | Will resume in January with a new Bible study series.
Men’s Retreat w/ThornCreek Church | “D-DAY” February 5-7, 2026 at High Peak Camp in Estes Park, CO. Pastor Jason Brest, Lead Pastor at One Hope Nazarene in Littleton, will be the guest speaker for the weekend. The cost is $140 per adult man and $75 per male child (age 12-17) with their father/guardian. Registration is deadline is Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. you can register at thorncreek.churchcenter.com; the retreat is open to the whole Colorado District Church of the Nazarene so space is limited, so register early!
