Keep Your Marriage on the Rock | Make plans to attend Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. This small group is discussion based on learning communication and relationship building skills. Ladies Lunch | Ladies will gather on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 @ 11:30 a.m. at Olive Garden (2390 S. Havana St., Aurora).
Ice Cream Social | The Men’s Ministry will be hosting an all church ice cream social on Sunday, September 15, 2024 @ 5:00 p.m. Homemade ice cream is the best! Men if you make homemade ice cream and would be willing to assist in this event please contact PastorEd@TowerCommunity.Church.
Ladies Funday Monday | MONDAY, September 16, 2024 @ 6:00 p.m. Ladies we will gather at the Lazy Dog (24110 E. State St., Aurora) and enjoy good food and great fellowship!
Faith Promise Weekend | Coming September 20-22, 2024. Join us as we learn about the work God is doing in Mexico through the ministry of Andrew & Julie Murakami.
- Jr. Missionary Retreat: The kids will be learning about life in Mexico and how the Church of the Nazarene is ministering to the nationals of Mexico. The retreat will be here at Tower Community Fellowship Friday evening September 20 through Saturday, September 21, 2024. Please see the insert in this bulletin for information on this event.
- Adults: we will assemble Crisis Care Kits on Saturday, September 21 @ 11:00 a.m. Following the Crisis Care Kit assembly we will join the kids for an authentic Mexican meal.
- Faith Promise Service on Sunday, September 22 with Special Speakers Andrew & Julie Murakami.
Power Surge | This is a spiritual renewal week for youth, hosted by the Colorado District Nazarene Youth International (NYI). The cost is $158 per student. If you would be will to contribute to a scholarship to help offset the cost so that one or more of our students can attend this amazing weekend please notate Power Surge in the memo area of your check or select “NYI Fund offering” from our online giving app on the website.
Fall Festival | Emilee, our children’s director, and the planning committee are gearing up for our fall event. There are some items that they need to make Fall Festival a success. Emilee has created an Amazon Wish list you can access it by using this link.
Operation Christmas Child | October 6 is kick off for Operation Christmas Child. If you would be interested in helping Leasha McCoy with pre-kick off shopping for the OCC Christmas Shoeboxes contact the churchoffice@TowerCommunity.Church.
Mall Ministry Volunteer Opportunity | Below is a list of events to held at the Tower Center Mall in Aurora, the dates and the number of volunteers needed for the event. If you would be interested in volunteering at any of these events, please contact Pastor Ed via PastorEd@TowerCommunity.Church
- Halloween Candy Crawl | Saturday, October 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. We need 4-5 volunteers to pass out candy and assisting with carnival style game area.
- Santa’s Grand Arrival | Friday, November 15 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. We need 4-5 volunteers to help with hot coca & Santa’s workshop crafts.
Christians in Recovery | Will be taking a summer break through the month of August.
